Clicking Writing inside the SPA bypasses the archive redirects and opens the old API-backed writing page. A shared router guard sends Writing and tag navigation to https://writing.gocanto.sh/. Legacy post navigation makes a document request, preserving the original full path so Caddy can apply each post's canonical redirect. Other SPA routes keep their existing behavior.

The production web Caddy also includes the 24 canonical legacy-post redirects before SEO and SPA handling. This completes the migration when the web service receives a legacy-post request directly, as well as through the outer API Caddy.

Validation:

  • All 42 focused navigation, relay, and redirect tests pass.
  • The 25 new redirect regression cases fail against the unchanged web Caddy and pass with this fix.
  • Actual production Caddy 2.10.0: all 24 human redirects, bot and forced-SEO precedence, unrelated SPA/unmapped-post routes, relay method handling, and static 404 behavior pass in an isolated localhost container.
  • Desktop and mobile (390 × 844) Writing clicks reach the migrated archive.
  • Vite build, changed-file lint, formatting, and diff checks pass.
  • The original PR head passed all 182 tests in CI. Earlier local parallel recommendation-dialog failures also occur on the unchanged baseline; existing TypeScript diagnostics are unchanged.

The separately observed API upstream 502 still requires origin diagnostics. No production changes are included in this work.

Walkthrough

A new global Vue Router guard redirects writing archive routes and qualifying post detail routes through a navigation callback. Tests cover those redirects and routes that remain within the SPA.

Changes

Archive navigation

Layer / File(s) Summary
Route redirect rules
src/support/archive-navigation.ts
Adds a guard factory with an injectable navigation callback. It redirects Writing and TagPosts routes to the writing archive URL. It redirects PostDetail to its full path when the originating route has matched records. Both redirects cancel router navigation.
Router integration and route tests
src/router.ts, tests/support/archive-navigation.test.ts
Registers the guard as a global beforeEach hook. Tests cover writing archive routes, mapped and unmapped posts, and routes that stay within the SPA.

Writing and tag links reach the archive, but legacy post clicks still open the old writing page. Add the production post redirects before merging to complete the migration.
