openSUSE Leap 16.0 was released 2025-10-01 and is supported until 2027. Add it as an enabled image. openSUSE has no automated updater, so the version, URL and checksum are recorded manually from the upstream Minimal-VM cloud image (build 2026-06-18). This is added before disabling the end-of-life Leap 15.6 so openSUSE stays available. The login is sles, not opensuse as on Leap 15.6. Leap 16.0 ships cloud-init-config-suse 25.1.3, whose /etc/cloud/cloud.cfg sets default_user.name to sles, where the 15.6 package (23.3) still set opensuse. Since login becomes the image_original_user property, the old value would tell operators to log in as an account the image does not have. Thanks to johanneskastl for catching this in the parallel proposal (#1230). Assisted-by: Claude:claude-opus-4-8 Assisted-by: Claude:claude-opus-5 Signed-off-by: Roger Luethi <luethi@osism.tech>
