What the real machine measured after the upgrade: doctor's false "no remedy" lines 100 → 3, the overlay 167 → 5 after one `xlings update`, dry-run 103 prunes / 7 reinstalls / 26 subos children, the once-only notices holding under a pty, five subos routing correctly under --sandbox. Also what did not finish (the isolated lifecycle verifier stalls on the GitHub index clone here) and one remedy string still worth changing.

self updateto 2026.9.12.1 (PR #591): doctor D1 100→3, dry-run 103 prune / 7 install / 26 children, overlay 167→5, notices once under a pty, five subos under --sandbox. Also records the stalled isolated verifier and the remedy string to change.
