I've made some changes that handle the exception from not having a place name at all (#5) and to move code around so that NER only gets loaded once (#4). Note that the code I wrote is only for MITIE in English (my specific use case), so it would need some work for the others.
I also expanded the testing readme with some more guidance about e.g. requirement for Python 2.
