…openboard-team#299) The Serbian Cyrillic layout (south_slavic) showed ѕ (U+0455, Dze) as the first key of the third row. Dze is a Macedonian letter; the 30-letter Serbian azbuka does not contain it, and all 30 Serbian letters are already present on the other keys (з on row 1, ж at the end of row 3), so the ѕ key was a superfluous 31st letter key. Skip the key for the sr locale via a languageCode switch case - the delete key's fillRight absorbs the freed width. The Macedonian layout, where both ѕ and the row3_1 override are correct, is unaffected. Fixes openboard-team#299 Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Summary
The Serbian Cyrillic layout showed ѕ (U+0455, Dze) as the first key of the third row. Dze is a Macedonian letter — the 30-letter Serbian azbuka does not contain it (#299). All 30 Serbian letters are already present on the other keys (з on row 1, ж at the end of row 3), so the ѕ key was a superfluous 31st letter key that took up space and confused users coming from other Serbian keyboards.
Fix
Skip the
keyspec_south_slavic_row3_1key for thesrlocale via alanguageCodeswitch case inrowkeys_south_slavic3.xml. The delete key'sfillRightabsorbs the freed width. The Macedonian layout — where ѕ is correct — is untouched (default case).Testing
Verified on an Android 15 emulator with the Serbian subtype enabled:
Row 1:
љ њ е р т з у и о п ш, row 2:а с д ф г х ј к л ч ћ, row 3:џ ц в б н м ђ ж— all 30 letters of the azbuka exactly once, no ѕ, backspace slightly wider. Macedonian still shows its 9-key third row.ѕ џ ц в б н м ђ жџ ц в б н м ђ жFixes #299
