Web UI is very slow on older devices

As you can see in the video, the web UI is very slow to respond on an older tablet, making it difficult to use. This is an Acer B3-A40 running Android 7 and Chrome 119.

I'm running your latest code. This started a couple weeks ago after you had made some heavy updates to the web UI. There seems to be a lot running in the background. Could there be an option to disable some of that?

I tried to disable a few things, but I couldn't figure out exactly what is causing it.

I didn't have the "Advanced mode" showing in the video, but the refresh interval was set at 10 seconds.

I assume it's because of blur effects, which newer devices render using hardware acceleration. I use my 2015' tablet as a "minimum requirement" reference and it's running smooth there, so I can't reproduce this issue on my side.
I will try to optimise it, or add an option to enable "lite" mode or something similar.

Ah, ok. I just looked that up and that makes sense.

That's definitely it. I did a global search and replace to replace every css blur effect with "none" and it's far better. There are a couple jitters here and there, but the scrolling is smooth and so is moving the sliders.

I forgot to reply, but I reduced the blur effects. Does it work better for you now?

Hey, sorry it took so long for me to look at this. I tried it out today finally. It definitely better, but still frustratingly slow. The main culprit seems to be the blur effects in tailwind.css. I tried cutting all the values in half with nothing over 8px and it's better, but still not as good as just none. For me anyway, disabling all the blur effects in tailwind.css and leaving the rest as you fixed them works well.

I'm just going to disable all the blur effects for my copy. I don't expect you to accommodate me. I'm sure I'll get an updated tablet to use with my piano at some point in the future.
