🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
Compare timestamp instants, not timestamp strings.
When callers supply valid timestamps with different offsets, localeCompare can select the older session. For example, 10:00+02:00 is earlier than 09:00Z but sorts after it. Compare parsed instants for updatedAt and startedAt, then retain the sessionId tie-break.

Thank you for contributing and for sharing your work. This PR is awaiting maintainer review; the automated review does not replace that step. For the bounty issues, we review PRs in the order they were opened, under the terms on the issue. An earlier PR that misses an acceptance criterion does not block a later complete solution. Please include the checks you ran yourself, their results, your environment, and any limitations, if those details are not already in the PR. We appreciate the time you have put into this. |

…break in shared-chat-dispatch (oll4com#207)

Hi @oll4com — thank you for the review update! I have refreshed this branch ( Verification Summary (as requested)

Thank you for working on #207. It is fixed in run-spaceapp 1.1.9 (commit 4e648e7): the test now sets the store's clock, so two sessions created in the same millisecond no longer tie. Closing this pull request. One note from the review: the in-memory store now honours the given timestamps but the PostgreSQL store does not, so the two would behave differently. Comparing by Date.parse was the right call. Contributions to SpaceApp are voluntary and unpaid. |
