@xterm/headlessin the root package.
terminal-proof.mjsis used by the root test suite but the root manifest does not declare@xterm/headless. It is declared only by@space/api, so the root scripts rely on npm hoisting it. A workspace dependency layout change can causeERR_MODULE_NOT_FOUND.Suggested fix

Review comments at @.github/workflows/dev-stack.yml:
- Around line 5-15: Update the pull_request path filter in the dev-stack
workflow to include apps/web/** so web source changes trigger the real-stack
proof, and add .nvmrc so Node version changes trigger it as well. Keep the
existing path entries.
Review comments at @apps/api/src/cli-agent-files.ts:
- Around line 216-218: Update the work-root resolution around
`instanceStorageDirectory` so errors raised while computing `temporaryRoot` are
converted to `AgentFileDocxNormalizationError`, including invalid overrides and
a missing install root. Preserve the existing root-selection behavior.
Review comments at @apps/api/src/instance-storage.ts:
- Line 6: Update the `SPACE_INSTALL_ROOT` validation guard to reject paths that
contain `/opt/spaceapp` or are contained within it, not just an exact match. Use
`path.relative` in both directions to detect either relationship, while
preserving the existing checks for missing or non-absolute configuration.
Review comments at @apps/api/src/space-control.ts:
- Line 1803: Update the incident-writing path in the visible code so the private
`live-voice-logs` directory is created recursively before appending the MCP-test
incident record. Follow the `recordDebugIncident` flow in `app.ts` for the
existing directory-creation pattern, and ensure the append uses that directory.
Review comments at @docs/development-stack.md:
- Around line 11-17: Update the prose in the development-stack guide to separate
words from following numbers and versions, including the listed product names,
ports, and file modes. Format port and mode values as inline code, following the
style used in CONTRIBUTING.md; leave unrelated wording unchanged.
Review comments at @scripts/dev-stack/lifecycle-proof.mjs:
- Line 66: Update the operator-facing proof messages in `lifecycle-proof.mjs` to
add spaces before the numbers in “exceeded 15 minutes” and “ports 4910/4911.”
Apply the same spacing correction to the named messages in `acceptance.mjs`,
`pty-capability.mjs`, and the `dev-stack.yml` workflow.
Review comments at @scripts/dev-stack/resources.mjs:
- Line 123: Update removeOwnedDocker to check whether config.compose exists as a
regular, non-symlink file before invoking Docker Compose down; skip the
invocation only when the file is absent, and propagate other filesystem errors.
Preserve the remaining-resource checks so labeled resources without a Compose
file still cause cleanup to fail.
Review comments at @scripts/dev-stack/supervisor.mjs:
- Line 170: Update the fatal readiness message in the result.fatal branch to
include a space before the values interpolated from result.epoch and
result.failures.
- Line 152: Update the `change` handler to retain the broadest reload kind
received during the debounce window: any `packages` change must take precedence
over `api`. When the timer fires, pass the accumulated kind to `rebuild` and
reset the pending kind so later debounce windows start fresh.

I reproduced and corrected the reload-priority and pre-Compose cleanup cases, along with the storage-root, DOCX error and incident-log findings. The new regressions fail against the previous implementation and pass with the corrections locally. Fresh Linux and Intel Mac validation of the corrected revision is running here. It includes the full project check/build, Linux test suite, Mac regressions and real application/lifecycle checks. I’ll update this PR once the new runs and review are complete. |

The Snyk check for https://app.snyk.io/org/oll4com/pr-checks/03092912-aab7-4d55-8df6-84e8341fcb9d |
Problem and user impact
Contributors currently have to assemble PostgreSQL, Temporal, secrets, paths and the CLI host to run the app from source.
npm run dev:stackstarts an isolated source stack and prints its URL and one-time owner setup token.npm run dev:stack -- downstops it;npm run dev:stack -- resetremoves its owned resources.Change
Starts the API, Vite web app, worker and CLI host from the checkout, with migrations and Docker image digests read from the canonical Compose template. Each instance has private state, fresh secrets, separate provider homes, configurable loopback ports, verified process identities and labeled resources. The OpenCode version is read from the Dockerfile and installed beneath the state directory.
API edits restart the API, web edits use Vite HMR, and shared/worker edits rebuild their dependency chain before replacement. Readiness probes belong to their replacement generation. Cleanup verifies ownership, preserves independent resources and retains recovery state after an unsuccessful removal. The guide, platform notes and changelog describe setup, ports, troubleshooting, stop and reset.
The earlier branch incorporated upstream through
adb96ac77531649bd335078aacaa0318ce1d20a2. Git metadata operations sharing the same canonical common directory are coordinated across service instances and path aliases; unrelated repositories and later module linking remain concurrent. Regressions preserve original errors and release the queue after failure. The integration also cancels a notice timer on unmount, corrects two deterministic test-fixture assumptions, and installs the Linux media prerequisite needed by the unchanged full test suite. The notice-timer cleanup is retained for the pre-PR checks required by this bounty. The earlier full-root Linux run failed with an unhandled
window is not definederror atuseAppNotices.ts:55after its notice timer survived unmount. The regression preserves the replacement notice's full dismissal delay and checks that unmount removes the pending timer.Current source and verification
Current source:
3832e61cd52d684beca906f2f2e25b253235fe26, with the required DCO sign-offs. Its tree is identical to tested7af5b2b6876b75ef4828718b0ea5c58976036993. The repaired branch integrates upstream through0fb6b224a62a4a99ce08917435f3a42b85b514a8, preserves the complete source-stack behavior and reads the current@opencode/cli2.0.32 pin from the source Dockerfile. Both jobs verified the exact source and clean final checkout. The real-stack checks cover owner setup and one-use token rejection, Getting Started, actual OpenCode terminal interaction, web/API/shared reload, isolated state/ports, failure recovery, down/reset and preservation of unrelated resources. Mac's Linux-only full-root step is intentionally skipped; a complete stock Mac suite is not claimed.
I reviewed the repaired development-stack feature and inspected these completed commands, results and acceptance evidence. I personally initiated the same-source test request and followed its recovery after Actions was re-enabled. The additional Linux/Mac recovery run40002627147 was started automatically and has now also passed: full Linux check/test/build/hygiene, targeted Mac checks/build/hygiene, and all 12 application plus 8 lifecycle checks on both systems.
The separate Snyk check currently reports one failed test. Its details page requires login; I have asked for the exact finding or affected dependency. That security check remains unresolved.
Existing platform, provider, browser and cleanup limitations remain below. A read-only merge check against upstream
f1c4e8351bb899ab9bd741b6e0d531b6ba8436c8found no textual conflicts; no runtime result for that merged tree is claimed.Earlier source verification
The following earlier results apply to runtime source
7448752c102418b907313942cf92c2c67585e5b1.The timer regression now requires one pending timer before unmount and zero afterward. Removing only the cleanup made it fail; restoring the unchanged product hook returned all 15 targeted tests to passing.
Mac's Linux-only full-root step is intentionally skipped. Both final guards verified the exact runtime HEAD and clean tracked/untracked source. Linux is the completed personal rerun in attempt 2; Mac is the original same-source job in attempt 1.
I reviewed the two added timer assertions, personally started the selective Linux rerun, and inspected its completed results and the passing Mac results for the same source.
Original redacted output, browser/terminal screenshots and HTTP/API/WS receipts: Linux artifact 12211889563, Mac artifact 12197833805. Application checks cover normal owner setup and token-reuse rejection, real OpenCode terminal keyboard interaction, browser HMR, API/shared-code reload and exact source restoration. Lifecycle checks cover stop/reset, failure recovery and preservation of independent resources.
Coverage limits: native Windows/WSL2 execution, normal Mac keychain/provider authentication, model inference and desktop packaging are untested. The fresh isolated Mac CI browser uses a test keychain and synthetic data. Optional companion/browser services, host-root features and other provider CLIs remain outside the requested source-stack scope. The documented bounded PTY-helper mode repair preserves the helper bytes. The initial Mac menu/filter has a minor ANSI fragment; the reopened menu is clear. Colima cleanup passed with a disk-unlock warning; residual VM disk files were not separately inventoried. The metadata queue is process-local and does not coordinate arbitrary external Git processes.
