Math delimiters syntax is too informal聽#1126

Description

@superle3

Thank you for your time in completing this issue! 馃檶

What is your suggestion?

  • in inline math the open $ can't have a space after it and the closing $ can't have a space before it and the closing $ can't have a number after it. The number thing is not mentioned in the referenced sites. Edit: I also couldn't find the space rule quickly in the references but may have read it wrong.
  • it's unclear what rules obsidian follows for display math if it spans multiple lines. It should state if (and what) something (other than spaces) can be placed at x's in the codeblock below.
x1$$x2
Expression
x3$$x4

Have any context we can refer to?

https://forum.obsidian.md/t/block-math-syntax-discrepancy-between-editor-and-reading-mode-latex/113922/24
(Which seems to suggest all xs can contain nothing, but not the implemented behaviour)
