--help and --version no longer trigger first-run setup or model downloads (podcli process --help used to). process --json --yes writes one result object to stdout and logs to stderr; NO_COLOR and a non-TTY turn off colour and spinners. podcli mcp still does not provision, because stdout is JSON-RPC — run podcli setup first. doctor --json now includes a provisioned map.

MCP

Two extra tools, the original 30 stay. rank_clip_candidates returns a shortlist from the cached transcript so the agent does not have to read the whole thing. process_episode runs the pipeline as a job that job_status can poll without the studio.

Renders

Default quality is high everywhere (the encoder used to print max while encoding high). Encode flags are read at call time. ffmpeg timeouts scale with duration, so a 40s CPU max pass is no longer killed at 300s. A hard-cut concat (thumbnail prepend, bookend_fade=0) no longer uses a 0-duration afade. Align A/V after that concat.

Docs

Intel Macs aren't supported (dropped "in progress" / "yet"). llms.txt is generated from the registered MCP tools. SKILL.md covers the agent workflow. server.json and .well-known/mcp.json are the MCP discovery files.

Verification

• Go: gofmt, go vet, go test ./...
• pytest: 1209 passed, 1 skipped
• TypeScript: npx tsc --noEmit, npm test (449 passed)
• Docs: node scripts/gen-docs-manifest.mjs then node scripts/check-docs-drift.mjs (32 tools)

Release CI only runs on v* tags, so this PR will not cut a release. Landing copy, docs site, and the footer star count live in nmbrthirteen/podcli-landing and nmbrthirteen/podcli-docs, not this repo.
