The issue-template config invited reports of malicious MCP servers observed in the wild as public issues, prefilled with the offending tool definition. That publishes an unpatched third-party vulnerability before its maintainer can fix it. Both vulnerability paths now open a private security advisory; the public issue route is narrowed to detection ideas that do not name a specific server.
