Summary

  • Update @opencode/plugin to 2.1.3, matching the running OpenCode version.
  • Read the current theme tokens in force-input and usage-limits; keep support for older token shapes.
  • Add regression coverage for the new token names.

Testing

  • Force-input and usage-limits tests, typechecks, builds, and package smoke tests pass.
  • Root formatting and typechecks pass.

Summary by cubic

Updates opencode-force-input and opencode-usage-limits to read the current OpenCode 2.1.3 theme tokens (base, muted) instead of the old ones (default, subdued), so colors render correctly on the running OpenCode version.

  • Bumps @opencode/plugin to 2.1.3 to match.
  • Keeps fallback support for the older token shapes and the legacy flat theme.
  • Adds regression tests covering the new, previous, and legacy token shapes, plus per-threshold usage status colors.

Written for commit 08ea0de. Summary will update on new commits.

📝 Summary

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Bug Fixes
    • Updated usage-limit colors and prompt hints to match OpenCode 2.1.3 themes.
    • Improved theme compatibility: current and previous structured themes are supported, while legacy theme behavior is retained. This helps keep usage indicators and prompt hints readable across supported theme versions.

Both plugins now support OpenCode 2.1.3 theme tokens while retaining compatibility with earlier structured themes. Usage limits also retains its legacy theme fallback. The plugin catalog version and each package’s patch changeset are updated.

Changes: Theme token compatibility

Layer / File(s) Summary
Usage limits theme resolution
package.json, packages/opencode-usage-limits/src/components.tsx, packages/opencode-usage-limits/__tests__/*, .changeset/2fead794.md
UsageTheme accepts current and earlier structured theme shapes, plus legacy themes. Resolution maps each structured shape to its corresponding tokens and uses legacy top-level color fields when neither shape matches. Tests use current tokens. The catalog version changes to 2.1.3, and a patch changeset records the token update.
Force-input theme resolution
packages/opencode-force-input/src/hint.ts, packages/opencode-force-input/__tests__/hint.test.tsx, .changeset/616f2eea.md
ForceHintTheme accepts current and earlier structured theme shapes, plus legacy themes. Color resolution uses the matching tokens for each structured shape. Tests cover current, earlier, and legacy themes. A patch changeset records the token update.

The theme update is mergeable with a bounded testing gap: the component tests would not catch incorrect status colors. Add color-specific assertions to protect the new mapping.

Explanation

The title "fix: use current OpenCode theme tokens" matches the main change. The changeset updates force-input and usage-limits to read the current OpenCode 2.1.3 theme tokens (base, muted, action base) and keeps support for the previous and legacy shapes. The title is specific and concise, and it follows the conventional commit prefix. It does not mention the @opencode/plugin bump, which is a minor supporting change.

Full details: Description check

Explanation

The description covers the Summary and Testing content. It lists the @opencode/plugin bump, the token read changes with legacy fallback, and the new regression tests. The template requires sections for Related issue, OpenCode and plugin compatibility, and a full Validation checklist. The description has none of these. It does not state the OpenCode V2 CLI version tested (opencode2 --version), the plugin package versions, or a Related issue reference. The Validation section is a free-text list, not the template checklist. The Release section (root changeset, skip-changeset label, no prerelease metadata) is also absent, though the changesets for both packages are present in the diff.

Resolution

Add the missing template sections. (1) Related issue: add Closes #123 or Refs #123, or state that no issue applies. (2) OpenCode and plugin compatibility: state the OpenCode V2 CLI version from opencode2 --version, list the affected packages (@mynameistito/opencode-force-input, @mynameistito/opencode-usage-limits, and @opencode/plugin 2.1.3), and add any migration notes. (3) Validation: mark each checklist item that was run, including bun install --frozen-lockfile, bun run typecheck, bun run check, bun run test, bun run build, and bun run test:package, and confirm the documentation check. (4) Release: confirm that a root changeset is included, which it is for both packages, and check the release items.

The previous Codecov report was from before e44d565. The updated codecov/patch check now passes, along with build, check, knip, tests, package smoke tests, and typecheck. The regression test covers the previous structured theme tokens.
