This repository was public with no licence, which for a template is the awkward case: a template exists to be copied, and without a licence nobody formally may. GitHub reported it as unlicensed. MIT, Copyright (c) 2026 Edgar Adrian Padilla Vega — the legal name, since a copyright notice is a legal assertion. Unlike dotnet-template there is no package metadata to keep in step here: this repo ships no NuGet package, so the licence lives in the file and the README alone. The README section also says what the licence covers — the template's own files — and that a repo created from it may relicense its own work on top.

Licensesection stating what the licence covers — this template's ownfiles: the
Makefile, the git and pre-commit configuration, the CI stubs, the rulesetsand the documentation — and that a repository created from it inherits those under the
same terms while remaining free to relicense its own work on top.
