What is left of a week is lost at its reset. A new setting, free_before_reset_hours (default 6, 0 to 168, 0 disables), lifts an account's limits in the last hours before its weekly reset: its reserve and client shares stop applying, so the account serves until it runs out.

  • The window watched is the account's longest account-wide window when it lasts a week or more (weekly for Claude and Codex, monthly when an account has a monthly window). Accounts with only shorter windows are never lifted.
  • Client access rules are unchanged; only quota limits are lifted.
  • /v1/quotas with a client key shows the raw windows while the shares are lifted.
  • Dashboard: Settings > End of the week, English and French.

Tests: shares_stop_holding_back_hours_before_the_weekly_reset, a_reserve_stops_applying_hours_before_the_weekly_reset; full workspace green locally.

Settings page, sample data (pnpm mock), new section after "Refresh and timeouts":

Settings, End of the week section with the hours field at 6

free_before_reset_hours (default 6, 0 to 168, 0 disables): within that many hours of an account's weekly reset, or monthly when its longest window is a month, its reserve and client shares stop applying so the rest of the window gets used. Settings > End of the week.
