SEO analysis for e-commerce stores and the agencies that run them — inside Claude Code.
One /seo command. It fans out parallel agents across your store, scores it 0-100, hands
you a prioritized fix list, and ships a white-label PDF you can put in front of a client.
No 40-tab spreadsheets. No five separate tools. Run it, see what's leaking traffic, fix it.
Built for two people:
- The operator running a DTC/e-comm store who wants to know what's actually costing them rankings.
- The agency lead who needs to hand a client something that looks like money.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/seo-audit <url> |
The all-in-one. Full-site audit → parallel agents → 0-100 score + prioritized fix list. (Same as /seo audit <url>.) |
/seo page <url> |
Deep single-page teardown |
/seo product <url> |
Product/collection page SEO + Product schema gaps (the e-comm deep dive) |
/seo schema <url> |
Detect, validate, and generate ready-to-paste JSON-LD |
/seo geo <url> |
AI-search readiness — can ChatGPT/Claude/Perplexity cite this page? |
/seo content <url> |
Content quality + E-E-A-T |
/seo technical <url> |
Crawlability, indexability, Core Web Vitals |
/seo-dashboard <url> |
Render the audit as a slick HTML dashboard in the side panel (score ring, bars, issue cards) |
/seo report <url> |
Run the audit and ship a white-label PDF |
- E-comm first. Product and collection pages get the deepest module — unique-copy detection, image SEO, faceted-nav and canonical handling, Product/Offer schema — not a bolt-on afterthought.
- Agency-ready. Every audit can become a branded PDF deliverable in one command.
- Falsifiable, not fluff. Every recommendation comes with how you'll know it worked. A 57 is a 57 — here's what moves it.
- Real data only. Findings trace to actual page data and Google's own APIs. No invented metrics.
- AI-search built in. GEO is a first-class command, because getting cited by ChatGPT and Perplexity is half the game now.
git clone <your-repo-url> seo-engine
cd seo-engine
./install.shinstall.sh creates a .venv and installs the Python engine.
Then register it as a plugin (Claude Code: add the local dir as a marketplace; Claude desktop: Upload plugin with a zip of this folder) and run:
/seo-engine:seo audit https://yourstore.com
Optional: set PAGESPEED_API_KEY for higher Core Web Vitals quota
(get a key).
- Claude Code or the Claude desktop app
- Python 3.9+
- Firecrawl (required for fetching). Real e-commerce stores sit behind Cloudflare/bot protection that plain HTTP can't pass, so seo-engine fetches through Firecrawl.
Keys live in ~/.seo-engine/.env (the desktop app doesn't read your shell environment).
install.sh scaffolds this file; fill it in:
FIRECRAWL_API_KEY=fc-... # required — https://firecrawl.dev → API Keys
PAGESPEED_API_KEY=AIza... # optional — Core Web Vitals; https://developers.google.com/speed/docs/insights/v5/get-started
It won't fabricate backlink profiles, keyword volumes, or rank-tracking data — those need paid APIs this plugin doesn't ship. It flags them as out of scope rather than guessing. Honest beats impressive.
MIT. The orchestrator + parallel sub-agent architecture was inspired by AgriciDaniel's
open-source claude-seo (also MIT). This
is an independent implementation reframed for e-commerce and agency workflows.
