The socket sample docs said Socket Mode negotiate was only available on the canary ring, but it is also available on Pilot1. This aligns the Python sample with the C# docs (microsoft/teams.net#693).

  • examples/socket/README.md: the "Canary endpoint" note now lists both the Canary (https://canary.botapi.skype.com) and Pilot1 (https://pilot1.botapi.skype.com) rings, and says the sample uses canary but Pilot1 works too.
  • examples/socket/src/main.py: adds a comment above negotiate_base_url mentioning Pilot1. The sample still points at canary.

Docs and comments only; no behavior change.
