First public release: recover your data from a Samsung Smart Switch PC backup — even if the phone is broken — with a guided Windows wizard or the command line.

Download

SmartSwitch-Backup-Analyzer-0.1.0-windows.zip (Windows 10/11, 64-bit). No Python needed.

1. Download the zip and extract it (right click → Extract all). Don't run it from inside the zip.
2. Open SmartSwitch Backup Analyzer.exe. It finds your Smart Switch backups by itself.
3. Choose what to recover. By default everything is saved next to the program.

Windows SmartScreen: the program is not code-signed, so Windows may show "Windows protected your PC". Click More info → Run anyway.

What it recovers

• Contacts → contacts.vcf (Google Contacts, iCloud, Outlook, any phone), including contacts stored only on the phone
• SMS and call log → sms.xml / calls.xml for SMS Backup & Restore on Android
• Samsung Notes → one .txt per note with attachments (PDFs, images) side by side, folders as on the phone, deleted notes in Trash/
• Photos, videos, documents, music → the phone's folder tree with original dates (copy, move or keep them separate)
• Wi-Fi networks → a page with QR codes to connect a new phone; passwords shown only on click
• Samsung Internet bookmarks and history, keyboard clipboard (texts and images), alarms, timers and world clock, blocked numbers, installed apps with Play Store links

Also included

• ssba.exe, the command line (ssba backups, ssba scan, ssba export all, …). See the README.
• An English and Italian interface (English by default, one click to switch).
• Everything runs on your PC; no data is sent anywhere.

Limitations

• Only basic Smart Switch backups (no backup password) are supported.
• Handwriting and drawings in Samsung Notes are not exported; those notes are listed in the summary.
• wifi.html contains your Wi-Fi passwords: keep it private.
