Separate HTTP 402 recovery by the shipped structured error code. Insufficient credits require funding or a cheaper request; subscription/model-tier restrictions require the indicated plan change or eligible settings. Credit packs do not unlock paid-plan models or settings.
Validation: current live OpenAPI and canonical error/upsell mapping, independent source review, changed-file Prettier, Mintlify broken links and whitespace. Guide copy only; no SDK/runtime, billing, price, entitlement, test or dependency changes.
