The Node face-swap example ignored its input arguments and generated from hardcoded sample media. Python and Node status readers also converted request failures into terminal job errors. Use caller-supplied media, preserve status-read failures with the original project ID, and link the existing recovery recipe so an interrupted integration does not encourage another billable submission.

Validated: Mintlify broken-links, changed-file formatting, both changed JavaScript snippets with Node's syntax checker, Python status snippet with its parser, and diff checks. Reviewed submission and polling flow: no automatic resubmission; existing polling intervals and limits remain unchanged. No paid API generation or full application run performed. CI covers current dependency versions and API/webhook reference consistency.

October 15 factual correction: queued self-hosted/open-source image jobs can be canceled in the web dashboard while still pending; started and third-party image jobs cannot. Public API cancellation remains unavailable. Verified against src/shared/status-helpers.ts, my-library/images/cancel-action.ts, and the public image API routes at web-app 5d74c0d8abd7f40671151adfa72b5b5d3e089ac7. No API cancellation endpoint or refund promise added. Current-head CI validation is tracked separately.
