Closes #22.

Consumers can now install Symfony Validator 5.4, 6.x, 7.x or 8.x through the explicit ^5.4 || ^6.0 || ^7.0 || ^8.0 constraint. Versions below 5.4 and future major 9 remain excluded; PHP requirements and production code are unchanged.

The CI adds four PHP 8.4 compatibility jobs that force 5.4.x, 6.4.x, 7.4.x and 8.1.x, verify the actually installed minor version, and run the complete composer test suite. Failures remain blocking and all matrix entries run independently. Existing PHP 8.4/8.5 and quality jobs are retained. Validator documentation and local reproduction instructions describe the supported range and matrix.

Validation on PHP 8.5.11:

• composer update --with 'symfony/validator:<minor>.*' --prefer-dist --no-interaction, followed by composer test, passed for 5.4.48, 6.4.47, 7.4.20 and 8.1.8: each run completed 855 tests and 4,645 assertions with coverage.
• composer quality passed, with existing PDepend deprecation notices under PHP 8.5; no source formatting changes.
• composer validate --no-check-publish and git diff --check passed.
• Workflow YAML parsed successfully; the version-verification step succeeded for matching installations and returned exit 1 for a deliberately mismatched expected version.

No public API, spatial semantics, serialization, architectural responsibility or breaking change is introduced. The dependency expansion is the approved scope of #22; no new governance gate was encountered. GitHub CI and independent review must complete before merge.
