Operating system

Code must work in Ubuntu 14.04.

Programming languages

Python 3.4 and C/C++ are the preferred programming languages. For Python, the Style Guide for Python Code is recommended; C/C++ code must compile with gcc 4.8.

Commit message

Add a meaningful summary, using the template at the end of the section Commit Guidelines in http://git-scm.com/book/en/Distributed-Git-Contributing-to-a-Project.
