Hard drive makes periodic noise while the program is running

Since the version changed to PawnlO (1.7.6), the hard disk makes a periodic operating noise (head load/unload sound) at roughly 1-second intervals while the program is running. The symptom disappears when the program is closed.

Through multiple tests, I found that enabling the noise/power management features in CrystalDiskInfo at each boot alleviates the issue.

The hard drive in use is a Seagate BarraCuda (ST2000DM008).

I see, it’s different then. Sigh… I still haven’t been able to resolve the issue either, and it’s making me feel really stressed, frustrated, and angry.
