This is so far the plugin that better matches the workflow I want: just a way to easily jump between buffers I have open with persistent mappings per session. However, it's incompatible with using multiple tabs, because the snipe menu will bring up every open buffer and you'll quickly make a mess if you're using the tabs to separate workspaces / projects.
I think an option of filtering the buffers by the tab they're open in would solve this. Alternatively, the jump could preserve the window the buffer is already opened on if applicable; ie. a jump to a buffer opened in another tab would go to that tab, and I suppose if it's in the same tab it would jump to that window instead of opening in the current window.
