The hand-rolled bare-route fallback is one of five copies that package-tools 0.1.3 replaces with BareRouteNameAliases, which chains, string-checks and announces once per name. The provider declares hasDeprecatedRouteNames(); the old method stays as a deprecated delegate. Internal view() calls move to the canonical laranail/<slug>:: form, which package-tools registers beside the hyphen form over the same paths, so host-published views keep resolving. NamingConventionTest runs on the shared AssertsRegisteredNames.
