Summary

  • Bounded ReAct iteration context: \�uild_iteration_messages\ and \�uild_resume_context\ send only the current user prompt, bounded recent state, and latest tool outputs, avoiding replaying complete historical transcripts every turn.
  • Tool schema pruning: conversational turns omit full tool schemas, saving context tokens on non-tool requests.
  • Backward compatibility: keep \�uild_messages\ exported from \devagent.agent.loop.

Tests


  • uff check devagent/ tests/\ passes clean.
  • Unit tests added in \ ests/test_phase8.py.
