…rame Jan observed HA showing the frame offline whenever any in-app modal (Settings, album browser, source setup, connection-error editor) covered the slideshow. Investigation traced it to the coordinator being torn down by the presenting view's onDisappear -- an accidental lifecycle coupling, not spec'd behavior; the same path re-enables the idle timer, violating FR-400-01. - FR-700-23 / SC-700-15: availability is app-level connectivity only; in-app modal presentation must not publish offline, disconnect, or reconnect. Availability stays HA-discovery-binary. - FR-710-24 / SC-710-08: new free-tier diagnostic sensor frame_status (running | inactive) driven by an explicit UI-visibility signal, not view lifecycle; unavailable when the app is truly offline. phase and playback keep their exact semantics. - Entity contract gains the frame_status row.
