Found during 2026-09-19/20 device testing on iPad jk (iPadOS 26.5.2), hitl §5 "Airplane-mode cold boot while entitled: features active at first render" (FR-1100-10, fact PAY-05).
Steps: with the Supporter Unlock owned, turn on Airplane Mode, power the device off and back on, unlock, open OwnFrame.
Observed: the app shows a black screen instead of the slideshow. It does not recover on its own; disabling Airplane Mode (restoring network) was needed before the app would start correctly. Expected per FR-1100-10 / fact PAY-05: entitled features (and the slideshow itself) should be available at first render, fully offline, on cached data — no network dependency for launch.
Impact: this is release-relevant for unattended frames (SC-1100-04's 24h offline soak assumes the app starts offline through relaunches/restarts); if launch itself hangs offline, the entitlement offline story is broken independent of the purchase gate.
Not investigated: whether this reproduces without Airplane Mode (e.g. any offline cold boot), or only in combination with the device restart.
