GeoQuest is a full-stack, multi-stage geography game for geography enthusiasts and students who need an engaging, interactive way to test & improve their global knowledge. Our game is a "gamified learning environment" that challenges you via flag identification, coordinate pinpointing, & capital recognition. Unlike other geography games and trainers, our product offers a dynamic, competitive, multi-stage gameplay loop that tracks your journey to mastery!

📂 Project Setup

Requires Node 18+.

# client
cd client
npm install
npm run dev

# server (in a separate terminal)
cd server
npm install
npm run dev

Client runs on http://localhost:5173, server on http://localhost:8000.

Create a server/.env file with your Supabase credentials:

SUPABASE_URL=your_supabase_url
SUPABASE_SERVICE_ROLE_KEY=your_service_role_key

Create a client/.env file with your Supabase credentials:

VITE_SUPABASE_URL=your_supabase_url
