When checking for the !items.length to return a prompt to add items to your list, the

element is missing so the CSS is incorrectly formated.

I believe this snippet should be:
if (!items.length) return ( <footer className="stats"> <p> <em>Start adding some items to your packing list 🚀</em> </p> </footer> );
