Summary

Refresh the organization profile with a short introduction to Hypercerts, links into the new documentation, and the useful community information from the existing README.

  • Use the main website's framing: open infrastructure for funding valuable work.
  • Explain reusable, account-owned records, evidence, and assessments, including planned, ongoing, and completed work. Preserve that Hypercerts is shared infrastructure, not a single application or marketplace, and components can be used independently.
  • Align the docs description with Guide, Client Integration, Reference, and Changes in docs: rebuild the documentation around the protocol documentation#164.
  • Preserve the full supporter acknowledgement, named supporters, non-endorsement disclaimer, and thanks.
  • Keep links to Contributing, the Code of Conduct, the blog, Bluesky, Twitter, Telegram, and Telegram Support. Add a direct website contact link.
  • Remove deprecated repository links and the repository catalog. Maintained components and repository links belong in the new docs. Long concept and architecture explanations are replaced by the short intro and Guide link, rather than duplicating the documentation or retaining outdated architecture claims.

Sources and validation

The introduction follows https://hypercerts.org/ and the new documentation in hypercerts-org/documentation#164, not the deployed docs site.

Reviewed the complete diff against the original README to distinguish useful community information from superseded or duplicated technical detail.

  • git diff --check passed.
  • Verified the supporter section is preserved in full, with punctuation changes only.
  • Verified all original social/community links, the blog, and both contribution-policy links remain.
  • Both policy documents exist in this repository; explicit GitHub file links work from the organization profile.
  • Documentation routes were checked against the PR #164 source files.
  • No deprecated repository links remain.

Merge after documentation PR #164 is deployed, since the Guide link targets the new site.

Only profile/README.md changes. No organization settings, pinned repositories, or policy documents are modified.
