lunte does not read .gitignore, so npm run lint walks into the build tree and lints whatever the build fetched. libuv v1.52.1 alone reports 14 errors from its vendored sample code:

build/_deps/github+libuv+libuv-src/docs/code/multi-echo-server/hammer.js:13:17 ERROR (curly)
build/_deps/github+libuv+libuv-src/docs/code/multi-echo-server/hammer.js:12:17 ERROR (eqeqeq)
...
14 errors

CI never sees this because the Lint job runs on node-base with no build tree, so it only bites locally - and blocks a pre-push hook that runs the same command.

build/ and prebuilds/ are the generated and downloaded directories, per the convention; prebuilds/ holds only a Makefile today, so nothing lintable is being excluded.

lunte does not read .gitignore, so anyone with a build tree lints the fetched
dependencies: libuv v1.52.1 alone reports 14 errors from its vendored sample
code, which fails npm run lint locally while CI passes with no build tree.
