@plazmabokor Thank you, merged. Good catch with the maker's STEP, and thanks for letting medmed58 know in #1098. It goes out with the next release. |

Discussion #1098: @medmed58 reported that the BIGTREETECH Pi V1.2 board is a mirror image of the maker's model, and sent the official STEP.
What was wrong: the board was built by flipping the maker's drawing instead of turning it. With the USB and Ethernet at the right end, the USB-C, micro-HDMI and power terminal were at the front edge and the GPIO header at the back. In the maker's model it is the other way round: the USB-C, micro-HDMI and power terminal are at the back edge, the GPIO header at the front.
How I checked: I read the maker's STEP and compared the mounting holes and 13 parts one by one. The old model matched only as a reflection, the new one as a proper turn. The one off-grid hole is at (3.3, 17.65) in the STEP and at (67.35, 3.3) in the corrected board, at the front edge.
The fix: in
bttPi12every part'syis now56 - y, and the four mounting holes are[3.3, 52.7], [61.54, 52.7], [3.3, 3.3], [67.35, 3.3]. Sizes, heights and all other boards are untouched; the microSD slot moves with the rest of the parts.Tests: the new holes and the microSD slot's new place in
tests/unit/sbcBoard.test.ts. On main 550d7fb (still the newest):npm test533 files, 4642 tests pass (6 skipped);npm run test:e2e119 files, 1050 tests pass;tsc --noEmitis clean;npm run exportworks.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
