AI disclosure
These days, I use AI to write code. I also use AI to assist in writing documentation. However, I do not blindly ship untested/unreviewed code. I own, support, and test all products I ship. My goal is to not introduce low-effort slop into the ecosystem. I do this for a living so I at least like to think I know what I'm doing here. For me, it is a very helpful tool.
In general, these are my views on AI:
- If words are on a page, I want it to be written by me and not AI. Writing is a form of self-expression and isn't something that I think AI is close to getting right. I will never author something with AI and then expect another human to read it and give a meaningful input back to me.
- I never ship AI-generated art or graphics.
- I test, review, and own everything I push.
