The existing Milvus test starts the proxy in-process, so it cannot catch CLI/configuration or process shutdown regressions.
Add a separate E2E workflow with mysql, postgres and both matrix modes. Each builds the actual executable with race detection, starts isolated Milvus 2.6.2, launches the executable from a generated config, and runs the shared complete SQL lifecycle through network clients. It also checks credentials, inactive listeners, SIGTERM exit status and released ports. Proxy/Milvus logs and test output are retained for seven days, including failures.
Cleanup now uses a fresh connection and bounded context so a timed-out test can still remove its own database. Local go test -race ./... and go vet ./... pass; full workflow results will be checked before merge.
