docket picks the account after the one that most recently hit a usage limit, and it stays there after that limit resets. So if claude_config_dir is the account I want to use most, reviews keep running on a fallback for days after that account has room again.

account.Pick now treats the configured order as a priority list: it takes the first account that no recorded limit applies to. When every account is over a limit, it still picks the one that resets first. A refused review can now restart on an account earlier in the list than the one claude refused.

One behavior change to know about: claude gives no reset time when it cuts a turn short at the limit, and docket counts that limit for an hour. After that hour, new reviews try the primary again. If it's still limited, that refusal carries the real reset time.

haacked/dotfiles#265 makes the same change to /go's run-review.py, which follows docket's order.

Test plan

  • bin/test
  • With a limit in ~/.docket/limits.jsonl on the first account that has already reset, start a review and check that it runs under the first account.

docket takes the accounts in config.toml's order and runs a new review
under the first one that no recorded usage limit applies to, so it
returns to an earlier account as soon as that account's limit resets.
