Hi, thanks for this usefull integration.
Having decided to change the folder destination for my backup, I did it with the app but then HA detected something has changed and the drive is no longer available.

Steps to reproduce 🧪

Add integration to HACS
Activate new drive in HA native backup function
Change or remove/Add folder destination from the App, drive is no longer available for HA backup

Expected behavior ✅

Simple way to sync both

As a workaround for now, you could manually move the existing backup files in pCloud to the new destination folder and then remove and re-add the integration in Home Assistant. This will force the integration to register the new folder location, and your existing backups should become available again afterwards.

Sorry for the long silence on this one: you reported it back in June, and it took us until now to properly address it. The workaround kept things usable, but you shouldn't have needed one for something as basic as changing the backup folder.

We found the root cause. Changing the folder reloads the integration, and during that reload the integration told Home Assistant's backup system about its backup location too early, while it was still starting up. Home Assistant only lists locations of fully loaded integrations, so pCloud dropped out of the list and only came back after a restart, or after removing and re-adding the integration as in the workaround.

This is fixed in 2.4.0, which is about to be released (PR #38). After changing the folder in the integration's options, pCloud now stays available as a backup location without a restart. I've tested exactly this on a real instance.

Two notes for when you update:

• Changing the folder doesn't move existing backups. Backups in the old folder won't be listed for the new one, so move them in pCloud if you want to keep them visible. The README now explains this.
• 2.4.0 requires Home Assistant 2025.3 or newer. You're on 2026.6, so that's fine.
