eopkg remove-orphans` removes libpeas-2, breaking Budgie desktop
Steps to reproduce:
- Run
sudo eopkg remove-orphans on a Solus Budgie install.
- Log out / reboot.
Expected: Budgie desktop loads normally.
Actual: Session fails to load. journalctl shows:
/usr/bin/budgie-panel: error while loading shared libraries: libpeas-2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
/usr/bin/budgie-daemon: error while loading shared libraries: libpeas-2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
both exiting with code 127, causing "Unrecoverable failure in required component" for BudgiePanel and BudgieDaemon.
Workaround: sudo eopkg install --reinstall libpeas-2 immediately restores the desktop.
Analysis: remove-orphans appears to classify libpeas-2 as unused and deletes libpeas-2.so.0, even though budgie-panel and budgie-daemon depend on it at runtime (dynamic loading, not always captured as a hard dependency). This makes remove-orphans unsafe to run on Budgie systems.
System info:
- Solus (Budgie edition)
- budgie-desktop 10.9.4
- libpeas-2 2.2.1
Request: please have libpeas-2 correctly flagged as a runtime dependency of budgie-desktop/budgie-daemon so remove-orphans doesn't remove it, or exclude it from orphan detection.

- Confirm the removal when prompted.
- Log out of the Budgie session, or reboot.
- Attempt to log back in.
Result: The Budgie session fails to load. Checking journalctl -b -1 | grep -i budgie shows:
/usr/bin/budgie-panel: error while loading shared libraries: libpeas-2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
/usr/bin/budgie-daemon: error while loading shared libraries: libpeas-2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Both budgie-panel and budgie-daemon exit with code 127, and budgie-session-binary reports "Unrecoverable failure in required component" for both.
Workaround: running sudo eopkg install --reinstall libpeas-2 from a TTY immediately restores the file and the desktop loads normally again on next login.
