feat(Clicky): Clicky picks its audio output, statistics get date ranges, records and streaks, and the menu bar popover opens fully and at Clicky's settings - #583
Stacked on #563: the output picker's late-output prompt and its notices use NoticeFix, which #563 adds, and the key sound fix edits #563's reviewed ClickyAudio.swift.
What
Clicky picks its audio output (a device of your choice, or rules per system output, with a prompt when the output is late), statistics with a date range, totals, records and streaks, two years of performance history, and two menu bar fixes (the popover takes its size before it shows; Clicky settings… opens Clicky's Sound page). Carries gt-native-fixes's key sound fix (the audio graph is wired on the start queue) and its three notes; that fix differs from #563's reviewed ClickyAudio.swift by exactly its own 48 lines, and the resolved file equals unified's.
Commits
972202a fix(GenesisKit, Clicky): the key sound wires its audio graph on the start queue, so the settings face no longer waits half a second for CoreAudio at launch (unified 187a6c2)
d5536af feat(Clicky): Clicky picks its audio output: a device of your choice or rules per system output, built on a shared GenesisKit AudioOutputs layer that reads each output's delay from CoreAudio, and a prompt that never takes focus offers a faster output when the current one is late (an AirPlay HomePod reports 2 s) (unified 98849d8)
7a7cf03 fix(Clicky): the performance page reaches back 2 years: minutes past 30 days roll into hourly totals, ranges add 90 days, 1 year and All time with a grouping that fits each, and the dictation estimate counts setup once per typing session instead of per 5-second burst, which made dictation look no faster than typing (unified 66777d4)
cfa2d32 fix(Clicky): charts open on the whole picked range and zoom out to it, week bars start on your calendar's first weekday, the hover names the span of a bar, durations read as hours and minutes, and Earlier, Later and the arrow keys pan (unified 18149c8)
5d518f7 feat(Clicky): one range, retention and comparison logic for both statistics pages, a dictation estimate with the share you would dictate and review time, and two years of sample data (unified 4ec1135)
c954162 feat(Clicky): Stats gets a date range with totals, daily average, active days, records and streaks; both pages say when Clicky is not recording, compare with the previous period, keep their choices, and rebuild at most every 5 seconds (unified 44687bd)
4c49c11 fix(Clicky): the menu bar popover takes its content's size before it shows, so it opens under the menu bar instead of growing up past the top of the display (unified 63c43dd)
9f678fb fix(Clicky): Clicky settings… in the menu bar popover opens Clicky's Sound page instead of whichever page the settings window showed last (unified a3591b2)
a3967af docs(skills, swift): asking AVAudioEngine.isRunning waits for a start on another queue, and NSSound.play waits for the output device (unified 9b5e0cf)
6ae6833 docs(GenesisKit, skills, swift): NoticePill's tone, details and fixes, and why a hidden test window drops SwiftUI clicks (unified 4628861)
7fc483b docs(skills, swift): the first mainMixerNode read creates the output unit and waits for CoreAudio (unified fc3193f)
Checks
GenesisKit swift test --filter Clicky: 122 tests, 0 failures. tsgo, check-tool-commands, lint-rules, placeholder-check, check-commits: all pass.
Cut from the unified branch by gt-native-ux (split agreed with gt-native-fixes and approved by Martin, 2026-10-25).

Merge Risk: Low · up to bd458
The change works as intended for most uses. Some statistics displays can be slightly misleading: pace charts in wide views, the previous-period daily-average comparison, and "1 presses" labels. A late-output prompt left open after the system output changes can save an unintended routing rule. These are worth fixing soon but are unlikely to block merging.

Explanation
The title is long (155 characters, 24 words) and bundles several changes together, but it names the main change. It covers Clicky audio-output selection, statistics date ranges and records, and the menu bar popover fix, which all appear in the changeset. The title is overly long, which reduces how quickly a teammate can scan it, but it is not off-topic or vague.

Review fixes 2026-10-26 03:09 from GPT-6.1 Sol judged by Claude Opus 5.5 (fable-judge)
Round 1. 6 open threads: eve 6, CodeRabbit 0, humans 0. All 6 findings are fixed, with 3 additional self-review fixes after reading the full 20-file PR diff. No findings were rejected or deferred. No GitHub replies were posted. Fixed in 5b8dfdb; the lead ran the tests and committed.
Expire hourly performance from recording time, including after idle periods (eve-bot-lovinka)
Context: The minute horizon was already 30 days behind recording time, so subtracting another 730 days retained roughly 760 days of hourly data. An early return also skipped hourly expiration when no minute needed rolling up.
How was this fixed: Removed the empty-roll-up early return and derive the hourly cutoff from the recording minute by reversing the caller's 30-day minute offset. Added testHourlyPerformanceExpiresFromRecordingTimeEvenWithoutOldMinutes in the existing ClickyTests.swift, covering both an expired hour and an hour exactly on the retention boundary with only recent minutes present. Verification:.
Confidence: 90%
Apply the faster-output answer to the active selection or system rule (eve-bot-lovinka)
Context: Accepting a faster device while A routes to late B added B-to-C instead of replacing A-to-B. A disconnected explicit choice also kept precedence over the ineffective added rule.
How was this fixed: Moved the preference transition into an internal pure helper in ClickyOutput.swift. It replaces any configured explicit device, including a disconnected one; otherwise it replaces the rule keyed by the current resolution's system output. ClickyModel applies the returned preferences atomically. Added testAcceptingFasterOutputReplacesTheActiveRuleOrDisconnectedPick to ClickyOutputTests.swift, covering an existing rule, disconnected explicit selection, and ordinary system following. Verification:.
Confidence: 90%
Keep the zoom slider finite when its range collapses (eve-bot-lovinka)
Context: A fitted range of five bins or fewer makes both zoom limits 1. Its logarithmic slider getter divided zero by zero and supplied NaN to SwiftUI.
How was this fixed: The shared chart now delegates to a bounded zoom-fraction helper that returns zero for equal limits. The slider is disabled when maxZoom is no greater than minZoom. Added testZoomFractionIsFiniteWithNoZoomRangeAndClampsNormalRanges to ClickyStatsPagesTests.swift, covering the collapsed range, normal logarithmic midpoint, and both clamping limits. Verification:.
Confidence: 90%
Use retained minute detail at partial-hour comparison boundaries (eve-bot-lovinka)
Context: Rounding the comparison end up to the next hour counted historical presses after the intended same-local-time cutoff. Older aggregates also appeared exact even when their boundary detail had expired.
letfirst=Int(floor(range.start.timeIntervalSince1970 /3600))letlast=Int(ceil(range.end.timeIntervalSince1970 /3600))return statistics.hours.reduce(0){ $1.key >= first && $1.key < last ? $0 + $1.value.presses : $0 }
Code after:
count += statistics.minutes.reduce(0){ sum, entry inletdate=Date(timeIntervalSince1970:Double(entry.key)*60)return entry.key /60== hour && date >= range.start && date < range.end
? sum + entry.value.presses : sum
}
How was this fixed: Totals use complete daily buckets, complete hours within partial days, and retained minutes within partial hours. Precision is based on retention cutoffs rather than the first nonempty bucket. If only coarse data remains, the report marks its totals approximate and ClickyAnalyticsView.swift displays that limitation. Added testComparisonUsesMinutesOnBothSidesOfPartialHourBoundaries, including yesterday's local-time cutoff across DST and a partial leading boundary, plus testComparisonDisclosesExpiredMinutePrecision in ClickyStatsPagesTests.swift. Verification:.
Confidence: 85%
Persist session continuity at the minute-retention boundary (eve-bot-lovinka)
Context: Dropping a minute removed the predecessor used to classify the first retained text minute, inventing another session and later permanently adding it to the hourly roll-up.
How was this fixed: Freeze the retained boundary minute's session-start classification before discarding its predecessor. The optional field is encoded with the bucket, decoded compatibly for older data, and honored by both report construction and later roll-ups through startsSession. Added testSessionContinuitySurvivesRollingBoundaryAndReload to ClickyTests.swift, covering consecutive text minutes, save/load, and repeated cutoff advances. Verification:.
Confidence: 85%
Include the leading partial-week point in fitted chart bounds (eve-bot-lovinka)
Context: Weekly marks are dated at the calendar week's start, which can precede the requested range start. Fitting strictly to the requested start clipped the leading partial week's mark despite counting its presses in totals.
How was this fixed: Fixed the shared NativeTimeSeriesChart rather than adding caller-specific bounds in ClickyPerformanceView. Both its initial scroll position and fitted domain use the earlier of the requested start and the first grouped point, preserving the selected totals while including the leading mark. Added testFittedDomainIncludesTheFirstPartialWeek to ClickyStatsPagesTests.swift, with a Wednesday start and a Monday-dated weekly bucket, checking that visible bins sum to report totals. Verification:.
Confidence: 85%
Keep press summaries independent of the Activity chart's Releases selector (self-review, no thread)
Context: The Releases selector changed daily values feeding records, streaks, active days, weekday averages, and the Rhythm chart, while their labels and summary total still described presses. A key pressed yesterday and released today could move the busiest press day to today.
How was this fixed: Daily summary and Rhythm data always use presses, while the Activity timeline continues to honor the Releases selector. Added testReleaseChartKeepsPressSummaryAndDailyRhythm to ClickyStatsPagesTests.swift with a press yesterday and release today. Verification:.
Confidence: 90%
Do not offer hourly Stats charts beyond hourly retention (self-review, no thread)
Context: All kept data could span two years but still offered Hour resolution, even though hourly key counts retain only 366 days. Choosing it silently omitted the first year of recorded daily history.
if interval.start < now.addingTimeInterval(-366*86400){return[.day]}return hasMinuteDetail(interval, now: now)?ClickyTimeResolution.allCases :[.hour,.day]
How was this fixed: The shared resolution policy now offers only daily charts past the hourly retention horizon, and ClickyAnalyticsView explains why. Added testStatsResolutionsRespectBothRetentionTiers in ClickyStatsPagesTests.swift for 7-, 90-, and 730-day ranges. Verification:.
Confidence: 90%
Make the new prompt's automatic dismissal a saved setting (self-review, no thread)
Context: The new faster-output prompt hard-coded a 45-second dismissal delay. The repository's opinionated-settings rule explicitly requires user-selectable timings, so users could not keep the prompt until they were ready to answer it.
/// Zero keeps the prompt visible until dismissed.
publicvardelayPromptSeconds=45
How was this fixed: Added the saved delayPromptSeconds preference with backward-compatible default 45 and normalization to 0...300. The Output settings card offers 15 seconds, 45 seconds, 2 minutes, and Until dismissed; ClickyModel passes the value into the prompt, which schedules no dismissal for zero. Extended the existing preference compatibility/round-trip test and added testPromptDurationNormalizesAndKeepsUntilDismissed in ClickyOutputTests.swift. These required changes stay in existing PR files; no dependencies or tracked files were added. Verification:.

Review fixes 2026-10-26 03:33 from GPT-6.1 Sol judged by Claude Opus 5.5 (fable-judge)
Round 2 at 5b8dfdb. 4 unresolved threads: eve 4, CodeRabbit 0, humans 0. Resolved round-1 findings need no further work. Six regression tests were added in existing test files. No checks, staging, commits or GitHub writes were run this round. Fixed in bbe4458; the lead ran the tests and committed.
Clamp every effective grouping to the available retention tier (eve-bot-lovinka)
Context: A short custom interval from six months ago suggested fifteen-minute grouping although its allowed grouping list starts at Hour. The picker had no matching tag and the chart split hourly history into misleading minute bins. Restoring or switching to Custom could reach the same mismatch.
How was this fixed: Added a shared validGrouping helper and separate the requested grouping from its effective, retention-valid value. The report, chart, query and picker all read the effective value. The picker writes the requested value, so initialization, range switching, custom-date edits and retention changes use the same guard without a transient invalid selection. Added testCustomGroupingClampsRestoredAndChangedChoicesToRetention in ClickyStatsPagesTests.swift, covering a six-month-old one-day range, recent minute detail, a valid weekly preference, and every grouping choice. Verification:.
Confidence: 90%
Bound All kept data and coverage to retained history (eve-bot-lovinka)
Context: The original collection timestamps never advance as daily and performance buckets expire. Using them directly made All kept data span expired years, inflated covered-day denominators, and claimed coverage for custom dates whose detail was removed.
privatevarearliest:Date?{ClickyRetention.historyStart(data, now: now)}
// Performance uses its own hourly retention boundary.
privatevarearliest:Date{ClickyRetention.performanceStart(data, now: now)?? now }
How was this fixed: Centralized effective history starts in ClickyRetention: daily coverage follows the calendar-day pruning boundary, performance coverage follows the 730-day hourly boundary, and retained bucket dates supply the fallback for legacy data without timestamps. Both views and ClickyStatsReport now use these bounded starts for All kept data, coverage, averages and comparison eligibility. Original timestamps remain unchanged for history-since labels. Added testRetainedCoverageDoesNotCountExpiredYearsOrCustomDates and testRetainedCoverageFallsBackToBucketsWithoutLegacyTimestamps in ClickyStatsPagesTests.swift. They cover a three-year recording history after pruning, the bounded average denominator, expired custom intervals, empty history and bucket fallbacks. Verification:.
Confidence: 85%
Show the actual pause reason while enabled collection is suspended (eve-bot-lovinka)
Context: Enabled remains true during a break, quiet hours, an excluded application or system sleep, but the receive policy rejects those events. Reporting recording solely from enabled hid the pause banner and displayed an updating header despite paused collection.
How was this fixed: Added explicit recording statuses for a user break, quiet hours, an excluded application and Mac/display sleep, with the same pause predicates and precedence as the existing context policy. Breaks offer Resume Clicky; quiet hours offer Turn Off Quiet Hours. Excluded applications explain that switching applications resumes collection, and states without an applicable action show no empty button. Both pages already consume the status for their banners and headers. Added testRecordingPauseReasonsFollowTheCollectionPolicy in ClickyStatsPagesTests.swift and testRecordingBannerResumesBreakAndCanDisableQuietHours in ClickyTests.swift. Verification:.
Confidence: 85%
Preserve mandatory output restarts when clicks arrive during engine startup (eve-bot-lovinka)
Context: A device change during startup queued the new device but used the ordinary stopAfterStart flag. Another click cleared that flag, allowing startup on the old device to play and remain active until an idle stop.
if completion ==.restart {self.stopVoices()self.startEngine()return}
How was this fixed: Replaced the single cancelable flag with an internal ClickyAudioStartState that separately tracks ordinary stop requests and mandatory route restarts. setOutput marks a mandatory restart if startup is in flight. A later click may cancel the ordinary stop but cannot erase the route restart. Completion stops and restarts the engine on its serial queue before consuming the pending click; a stop without a later click still stays stopped. Added testOutputChangeRestartSurvivesAnotherClickDuringStart in ClickyTests.swift, exercising the real start-state transitions for repeated clicks after an output change, normal idle-stop cancellation, explicit stopping, and the following fresh start. Verification:.

Review fixes 2026-10-26 04:06 from GPT-6.1 Sol judged by Claude Opus 5.5 (fable-judge)
Round 3 at bbe4458. 2 unresolved eve threads, no CodeRabbit or human threads. They meet the round policy because weighted aggregation is the same statistical-aggregation accuracy class as round 1, and restoring custom dates is the same custom-range restoration class as round 2. No findings were rejected or deferred. Three regression tests were added in the existing statistics-page test file. No checks, staging, commits or GitHub writes were run this round. Fixed in e228c93; the lead ran the tests and committed.
Preserve weighted pace and correction share when chart bins merge (eve-bot-lovinka)
Context: The performance chart reduced each bucket to a scalar rate, then averaged those rates equally when zoomed out. Buckets with different active durations or text-plus-delete counts therefore produced an incorrect plotted rate, contrary to the page's combined-numerator/denominator contract.
timelineValue(point.totals).map{NativeTimePoint(date: point.date, value: $0)}
// The sampler then used an unweighted mean.
values[index]+= point.value
counts[index]+=1
How was this fixed: NativeTimePoint now carries an optional-at-initialization weight with a default of 1, preserving existing callers. Performance supplies active seconds for pace and text-plus-delete presses for correction share. Fixed-grid and calendar sampling both divide weighted rate sums by combined denominators and retain the resulting weight for subsequent merging. Event sums ignore weights. This is the same aggregation-accuracy class as the earlier totals and roll-up fixes, so it qualifies under round 3 even though the shared-sampler change and tests exceed about 20 lines. Added testMergedPerformanceRatesUseTheirUnequalDenominators and testCalendarRateBinsKeepWeightsForFurtherMerging in ClickyStatsPagesTests.swift. They cover the 100-WPM/30-second and 20-WPM/300-second example, unequal correction-share denominators, ordinary sums, calendar bins and repeated merging. Verification:.
Confidence: 90%
Restore the saved custom period when reopening Performance (eve-bot-lovinka)
Context: Only the Custom range name was saved. Its dates reset to today on page recreation, so reopening a historical Custom selection silently showed a different period. Grouping and weekday/hour filters were also transient without saying so.
@AppStorageprivatevarstartTimestamp:Double@AppStorageprivatevarendTimestamp:Double
// The date pickers read and write these saved timestamps.
_requestedGrouping =State(initialValue:ClickyRanges.grouping(for: range, span: restored.duration))
How was this fixed: Persisted custom start/end timestamps in the supplied UserDefaults store and bound both date pickers to those values. Reopening Custom restores its actual dates and derives its opening grouping from the restored interval, still subject to the round-2 retention clamp. The Custom section explicitly states that grouping and weekday/hour filters reset when the page reopens, satisfying the requested clarification for those choices. This is the same custom-range restoration class as round 2, so it qualifies under round 3's same-class exception. Added testCustomDatesSurviveRecreatingThePerformancePage in ClickyStatsPagesTests.swift, which changes the first page's dates and constructs a second page using the same defaults. Verification:.

Use the previous period's covered days for its daily average
The current daily average divides by coveredDays, but the comparison divides previousTotal by the full selected period's totalDays. When recording started ten days ago and the selected range is seven days, the previous period has only three recorded days. Even with exactly 100 presses on every recorded day, this compares 100/day against about 43/day and reports a large increase. Carry the previous interval's covered-day count in ClickyStatsReport and use the same denominator policy on both sides (or omit the comparison when coverage is insufficient).
The reason will be displayed to describe this comment to others. Learn more.
Valid. The comparison at ClickyAnalyticsView.swift:169 divides the previous total by the full period length, while the current daily average uses only recorded days. A correct fix needs the report to carry the previous period's covered days from the statistics query, not only a change in the view. The pull request has had its three fix rounds, so a Medium finding that needs more than a small change waits for a follow-up, and this thread stays open until then.

⚠️ Potential issue
Surface a refused output selection instead of reporting it as active
When AudioOutputs.pin returns false, this only logs and then starts the engine on its existing output. Meanwhile refreshOutput publishes the requested device as output.effective, and the Output card says “Now playing on” that device. A refused CoreAudio device change therefore silently plays on a different output while presenting the selection as successful. Propagate the routing failure back to the model and either show the actual fallback or keep playback stopped with a visible error; the effective-device state should reflect a successfully applied route.

⚠️ Potential issue
Invalidate closed-range reports when the underlying history changes
The new live guard drops every store revision for a historical Custom range, and Query no longer contains store.revision. That is safe for ordinary new presses, but not for history replacement: ClickyModel.resetStatistics publishes an empty snapshot through analytics.flush, and switching back from another page attaches the latest snapshot. With a closed custom range, these updates never rebuild preparedReport or previousReport. For example, clearing statistics leaves the old report cached; after recording the next key, performanceStartedAt becomes non-nil and the view displays that cleared historical data again. Distinguish append-only updates from history reset/replacement, or invalidate on those revisions even for closed ranges.

Measure the CoreAudio device enumeration that now runs on the main thread.
refreshOutput() calls AudioOutputs.outputs() synchronously on the main actor. The call runs in init, on every AudioOutputMonitor event, and on each output or delay preference change.
outputs() makes about six CoreAudio property reads per device. The new entry in .claude/skills/swift/references/gotchas.md records that CoreAudio calls can block the main thread (0.5 s for mainMixerNode). AirPlay and Bluetooth devices are the likely slow ones.
Wrap the call in a PerfLog span so a slow enumeration shows up in app-perf.log. If the span shows stalls, move the enumeration to a background queue and publish the result on the main actor.

Ignore the prompt's "Play there" action when the late output is no longer the effective output.
The prompt can stay visible for up to delayPromptSeconds (up to 300 s, or until dismissed). onSwitch captures faster when the prompt is built. It then applies acceptingFasterOutput against the current output.
Example: the prompt names AirPlay as late. The system output then changes to Monitor. The user clicks "Play there". output.system is now Monitor, so a persistent Monitor → Speakers rule is saved. The user did not ask for that rule.
Check that the late output is still the effective output before changing preferences. Do this in the onSwitch closure.

Add a setting for the hidden virtual and aggregate outputs.
The picker filters out every virtual and aggregate output. The only exception is a UID that is already saved. This also removes devices such as Loopback, BlackHole, and user-built aggregate devices. A user who wants Clicky on one of them cannot choose it. The rule picker on line 102 has the same filter.
Hiding these devices is a reasonable default. It is still a choice where another user could want the opposite. The repository rule requires a setting with this behavior as the default, shipped in the same change.
Add showVirtualOutputs (default false) to ClickyPreferences. Read it with the read helper in init(from:). Add a toggle to this card with a one-line detail. Use the flag in both filters.
As per path instructions: "when a UI change picks one way where a reasonable user could want another, the choice is a setting with that way as its default. You decide the default and ship the setting in the same change."

Apply the pace and correction thresholds to the merged bar, not to each source bucket
timelineValue drops a source bucket with less than 30 s of typing, or fewer than 20 text-plus-delete presses, before the chart merges buckets. When a wide view merges buckets, NativeChartSampling.bins averages only the buckets that are left, so some typing is never counted.
Example: the "1 minute" grouping over 30 days draws bars of about 36 minutes (binInterval caps the chart at 1,200 bins). One minute holds at most 60 s of typing, so the filter keeps only dense minutes. Each wide bar then shows the pace of the fastest typing, not the combined words divided by the combined typing time. A bar made of ten minutes with 20 s of typing each disappears, even though it has 200 s of typing.
This contradicts two texts on the page:
The caption "Bars with less than 30 seconds of typing are left out."
The "How the estimates work" note that rates divide combined words by combined typing time.
The fix:
Emit every bucket that has a nonzero weight.
Let the chart leave out average bins whose merged weight is below a threshold.

Then pass a minimumWeight to NativeTimeSeriesChart: 30 for pace and 20 for corrections. In visible, drop average bins whose weight is below that value.

around lines 405 - 406:
Update timelineValue so the pace and corrections cases emit values for every
bucket with nonzero weight, rather than applying the minimum thresholds before
chart merging. Pass the respective minimum weights of 30 and 20 to
NativeTimeSeriesChart, and apply those thresholds in visible to merged average
bins so qualifying combined activity is retained.

Accepted. The thresholds should apply to the merged bar, with a test over a wide range. The pull request was merged after its three fix rounds, so this finding waits for a follow-up, and this thread stays open until then.

@genesiscz Understood. This finding remains open for the follow-up fix and wide-range regression test.
Would you like me to create a GitHub issue to track the follow-up?

Learning: In genesiscz/GenesisTools, ordinary review rounds for PRs with 100 changed files or fewer require fixes only for Critical, High, and security findings from round 3 onward. Valid lower-severity findings deferred under this policy must remain open. Dedicated user reviews require all valid findings to be fixed.

⚠️ Potential issue
Count a session entering the selected filter
Session starts are derived from the entire minute history before the filter is applied. If typing begins at 08:59 and continues through 09:05, a 09:00–17:00 filter includes the typing but excludes its only session start. The report can therefore show words and typing time with zero typing sessions, and the dictation estimate charges no setup for that work. The existing carried-burst adjustment handles this boundary for bursts, but there is no equivalent for sessions. Count a session when included text continues from an excluded predecessor (without inventing extra starts inside the included run), and cover date and hour-filter boundaries in tests.
🧩 Analysis
Grep evidence: bucket.sessions = ClickyStatistics.startsSession|bucket.carriedBurst && !filter.includes|totals.sessions \* max

Accepted. A session that runs into the filtered window should count once, the way a carried burst already does, with a test across the filter's start. The pull request was merged after its three fix rounds, so this finding waits for a follow-up, and this thread stays open until then.

⚠️ Potential issue
Apply the shared hover style to the new output actions
The new “Ask again” and “Add a rule” buttons have no GenesisKit hover style; neither NativeSettingsCard nor NativeSettingsRow supplies one. The prompt's Keep/Play actions likewise use only the default button style. This violates the project review memory requirement to give every clickable control a GenesisKit hover style. Apply the appropriate shared hover style to these new actions rather than leaving their interaction feedback inconsistent with the surrounding settings controls.

Valid. They should take the GenesisKit hover style like the other settings controls. The pull request was merged after its three fix rounds, so this finding waits for a follow-up, and this thread stays open until then.
