You mean that the preview of the system animation is glitchy ?

Like that it shows res 500x500 and boot animation has glitchy effect but if i dont have 500x500 device and it can be bootloopable or it just basic visual bug

The resolution 500×500 is the resolution of the animation and has nothing to do with the size of the screen. Android automatically displays the animation in the middle of the screen, and it works at any resolution.

I tried multiple cases of breaking the boot animation on my phone. If the animation isn't correct, it just doesn't display. If the animation is too large for the screen, it gets cropped. Even if the animation is missing, it just doesn't display either. I also tried with a very heavy boot animation of multiple GB, and it just doesn't display.

I'm practically sure that the chances of getting a bootloop are null. In case you somehow get a bootloop, it should be very easy to fix since it's a module overlay, so it doesn't modify the system itself. It can easily be stopped by entering safe mode, or if you have another module that detects bootloops and automatically disables all modules.

The glitchy effect is probably due to a bug in the code that displays the preview or in the preview generation.

Oh and i have a question this normal that some boot anims can have 200 mb size?

Yes, that’s normal. It’s because the boot animations are compressed ZIP files containing each frame as a separate image, so the files can get quite large. You can lower the FPS to reduce the file size without really noticing much of a difference.

But guess what boot animation still doesnt works but itself it changes in boot animation dark and in boot animation

Try this and tell me if it works:

• With an explorer go to /data/adb/modules/ or just click the 🔧 icon in the app.
• Delete the BootStudio folder.
• Remove all the app's data.
• Reboot your phone.
• Restart the app and redo all the setup.
• Apply an animation.
• Reboot.

If it still don't work, could you check if the animations are all well overlayed in the path of the animations (click the "list" icon). Check if in the zips there is the good animation.

No still didn't work i clean it in data adb modules did all again checked in system media and still doesn't work but when i clicking on list button it says open with google and pdf reader and ofc this doesn't open can it be cuz dm verity?

After applying and reboot, go to the boot animation path with a file explorer, unzip the animation and tell me if it is overlayed
