Summary

When the deadline ended the bound compilation of a conversion part, the joint search folded the remaining teams under the pool-wide bound but returned without setting the engine's stop reason. The check now uses the engine's expiry test, which records TimeLimit, so the result reports the deadline as its exit reason like every other deadline stop. Runs that do not hit the deadline are unchanged.

Tests

  • cargo clippy --workspace --all-targets -- -D warnings
  • cargo test -p ournotes-search

When the deadline ended the bound compilation of a conversion part, the
joint search folded the remaining teams under the pool-wide bound and
returned without setting the engine's stop reason. The check now goes
through the engine's expiry test, so the result reports the time limit
as its exit reason, as every other deadline stop does.
