Tutorial presenters aren't generally eligible for opportunity grants because we're paying them to present. Let's not encourage them to apply for grants as such.

I was under the impression that if a tutorial pays out less than what they'd get from an OG award, the OG budget would make up the difference?

I was under the impression that if a tutorial pays out less than what they'd get from an OG award, the OG budget would make up the difference?

This has always been my understanding. If a tutorial presenter asked for a grant, we'd subtract their expenses and pay them the difference on either side so that they weren't paying out of pocket to give a tutorial. Since returning from the online-only year, it's been slower to restart tutorial attendance.

That said, I do not know what we did last year.
