Buggy behaviour under Mac OS 9

Describe the bug
Strange bug where several parts of the UI are transparent and leave traces behind.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Boot the system
2. Use any menu

• Guest OS: Mac OS 9.2.2
• Guest Processor: Power Macintosh G3 Desktop

• Guest RAM: 128MB

Are there any temporary solutions to this?

Deleting the ATI Rage acceleration extensions from the Systems folder.

Don't delete. Just move it to Extensions (disabled)

How do i do this? The windows are broken too.

Boot from the CD, but make sure you include both the CD and the hard disk.
From there, go into the hard disk and then the System folder, then the Extensions folder.
Move the ATI Rage Extensions from there to the Extensions (Disabled) folder.

You could also try HFSExplorer.

The CD image now freezes on boot.

The CD load time is taking a little longer, but it still boots after a three minute wait. It is definitely odd, as I do notice it was booting faster before recent commits. If this concerns you, use Alpha 1.04a in the meantime.

It's been stuck like this for a whole hour, should i go the alpha 1.04a route like you mentioned?

The issue persists.

May be an issue with the disc image. I have a similar disc image, for 9.2.1, and that boots without issue.

I've tried downloading several images. All of them froze mid-way.

The UI is no longer bugged like in the first image. I'm still looking into 9.2.x CD images not working as they should.
