The README now opens with a GIF of two models going through the same intake:

  1. A repository shaped like the October 2026 Hugging Face miner campaign, the detection benchmark's defanged dir-remote-code-tiny-qwen2 case. It scans as withheld: the Remote code LEAD names modeling_bench.py, which its auto_map tells the loader to import.
  2. Qwen/Qwen3-0.6B, pulled through the airlock at a pinned commit (c1899de). Every row is PASS, and promotion is authorized.
  3. Both reports are signed with an operator key. The airlock refuses the first (promotion refused: attestation state "withheld"…) and promotes the second into the clean store. socair verify then checks the attestation offline.

scripts/record-demo.sh re-records it:

  • It writes the benchmark case with SOCAIR_BENCHMARK_CORPUS, so the demo scans the benchmark's own bytes. The stand-in payload only builds a string.
  • It records with asciinema and fails if the recording doesn't show each outcome the caption names.
  • It renders the GIF with agg.

The GIF is 610 KB, 979×605, and about 65 seconds plus an 8-second hold on the last frame. Idle time is capped at 4 seconds, so the 1.5 GB download is shortened; the caption says so.

Recorded at v0.1.0-rc.8 (97e4476). ShellCheck passes. The GIF and the README caption are the only changes outside the new script.
