A design pass on the Mac app, with note capture as the priority.

Capture

Capture is now one view for every way in: the ⌘N sheet, the menu bar popover, and a new floating quick capture panel on ⌃⌥N from any app (Spotlight-style, doesn't bring the main window forward). On the Mac it draws its own chrome instead of a NavigationStack inside a sheet:

• a large borderless field ("What's on your mind?") that grows with the text
• the link as a quiet row, with a one-click "Paste host" when the clipboard holds a URL
• a footer with the destination (Inbox), key hints and Save as the default button
• Return saves, ⌥Return breaks a line, Escape closes; a draft dismissed by accident is kept
• after saving, the confirmation shows at once and related entries load beneath it, with hover-highlighted rows and a Link/Linked state; with nothing to link it closes itself after a beat

The hot key is a Carbon RegisterEventHotKey, so it needs no accessibility permission. It's registered while the app runs.

Main window

• Sidebar project rows are single-line labels: a folder tinted by status (dimmed when the pattern declares the status closed), an orange mark for "serves no goal", status and horizon in the tooltip. Titles no longer truncate.
• The account menu moved to the app menu ("Sign Out of host") on the Mac, which removes the sidebar toolbar overflow (>>). iOS keeps its toolbar menu.
• One New Note toolbar button for every screen; a default window size of 1100×720.
• Review drops the machine-generated footer and the initial-status badge (every overdue row said OPEN); row menus lose their disclosure chevrons.
• Inbox: the empty state is an overlay with a New Note action and names all three capture routes; note dates are relative.
• Goals: "Serve with a project…" is a borderless menu rather than a large button.

Checks

• macOS and iOS Simulator builds succeed; MnemionKit tests pass (36 tests, including ConventionTests); coherence spec --check reports 0 problems. The spec gains a "quick capture hot key" entrance.
• I couldn't drive the keyboard on the review Mac (no accessibility permission for automation), so Return/⌥Return/Escape and the hot key were not exercised by hand; screenshots came from a local, uncommitted launch-argument harness. Worth a quick try: ⌃⌥N, type, ⌥↩, ↩.
• Screenshots live on the pr-assets/mac-design-pass branch, which can be deleted after merge.
