…y grades WRONG_TEST Template path and repo values and their under roots are resolved to the drive-path spelling the Windows fs and git built-ins accept: canonicalize returns extended-length \\?\ paths there, which those built-ins refuse, and a bare drive prefix was canonicalized on its own as that drive's current directory. On Windows a leading ~ now expands to the process token's profile folder, the folder the Windows fs built-in already uses for ~ roots, rather than HOME. The Windows template tests spell roots as drive paths (core) and use the plain real path of their scratch directories (module). Mutation rows: later tests in the same targets assert the same property and join expect_red; template-canonical-path-bounds and template-expiry-never-shortens are narrowed to the bounds check and to shortening alone; template-dry-run-bounds keeps its shared mutant but runs only the dry-run tests; the subc dependency control's lockfile edits follow subc-protocol 0.31.0.
