Folders/tag support

I admire the elegance and light-weight design of unforget.

I'm a Google Keep user as well as a Notes user. Keep doesn't support end-to-end encryption and Notes doesn't yet support syncing between multiple instances. I make heavy use of the folder functionality supported in both apps.

I read the thread on Hacker News explaining why folder support was not implemented in unforget.

Although I really prefer folders, I could almost get by with hash tags in unforget except for one thing - I can't think of an obvious way to list all the distinct hash tags in currently in use. You would have to memorise the ones you have used.

Hi Vlad, I'm happy to hear that you like Unforget. It should be fairly easy to add a separate page that lists all the tags in use where you can click on one and show all the notes with that tag. I'll add this one soon. Does this meet your needs? Adding autocompletion for tag in the search box and note editor could be the next step for later. Regards, Sean

In the new version, when importing from Google Keep and Apple Notes, we can choose to import the folders/labels as tags.
