KorbKlar is a self-hosted comparison of current regional supermarket offers in Germany: enter a postal code, it finds the matching retailers and stores, loads the weekly offers, normalises names and pack sizes and compares unit prices including optional loyalty prices. FastAPI + SQLite, headless Chromium for three retailers, REST API, Android app.

• Debian 13, setup_uv, fetch_and_deploy_gh_release ... "tarball", uv venv + uv pip install; only apt dependency is chromium (KorbKlar starts it with --no-sandbox, so root in the LXC works)
• runtime data in /opt/korbklar_data, configuration in /opt/korbklar.env (every variable from upstream .env.example), so update_script() is CLEAN_INSTALL=1 + venv rebuild without backup/restore
• optional app_vars: var_postal_code, var_retailers, var_api_key
• port 8000; web UI has no login by upstream design, SUPERMARKT_API_KEY guards REST and app pairing (noted in the JSON)

Honest note on the requirements: the project is young (first release August 2026, ~30 stars, 12 releases in four weeks, one active maintainer). It does not meet the 6-month / 600-star thresholds yet; if it should wait, close and I resubmit when it qualifies. No selfhst icon exists yet, the JSON points at the upstream SVG header.
