I was unable to convert EPUB to PDF. There was an error about not having the correct PDF engine.
Steps to reproduce
Step 1: Set default conversions for EPUB to PDF
Step 2: upload EPUB file to webpage and press convert
Step 3: Get error message about no PDF engine
Error output
First error:
Conversion failed for generic_ebook_ambigious_name.epub: Conversion failed: Pandoc died with exitcode "47" during conversion: weasyprint not found. Please select a different --pdf-engine or install weasyprint
Second error after weasyprint install:
Conversion failed for generic_ebook_ambigious_name.epub: Conversion failed: Calibre conversion failed: Failed to import PyQt module: PyQt6.QtWebEngineCore with error: libOpenGL.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Traceback (most recent call last): File "runpy.py", line 198, in _run_module_as_main File "runpy.py", line 88, in _run_code File "site.py", line 47, in File "site.py", line 43, in main File "calibre/ebooks/conversion/cli.py", line 427, in main File "calibre/ebooks/conversion/plumber.py", line 1085, in run File "calibre/ebooks/conversion/plugins/pdf_output.py", line 153, in specialize_options ImportError: cannot import name 'QWebEnginePage' from 'qt.webengine' (/opt/calibre/lib/calibre-extensions/python-lib.bypy.frozen/qt/webengine.pyc)
the issue is with the virtual environment, aka uv as app cant find weasyprint at the path and one dependency was missing anyway.
I've fixed the script.
