Description

@sanderkoenders

βœ… Have you read and understood the above guidelines?

yes

πŸ“œ What is the name of the script you are using, or where do you have Problems?

borgbackup-server

πŸ“ Provide a clear and concise description of the issue.

I had initially forked the original ProxmoxVE repository and created the borgbackup-server script. This script was recently merged into ProxmoxVED. After thorough testing I found that the update menu is inoperable in the container. Further investigation brought to light that msg_menu is not present in the development repository. This issue had not presented itself in my fork because I forked the original repo and not the development repo.

Is this intentional and should the script be altered accordingly? Or should msg_menu be added to misc/build.func in the development repo as well?

πŸ”„ Steps to reproduce the issue.

  1. Install borgbackup-server ( bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/community-scripts/ProxmoxVED/main/ct/alpine-borgbackup-server.sh)")
  2. issue the update command inside the container
  3. Choose either silent or verbose mode
  4. The error should present itself

❌ Paste the full error output (if available).
