With Quark OS version 1.7. in progress I have some more suggestions. No idea how much effort it wold take but would enhace the awesome Trimui Smart and this killer CFW even more.

Features seen on Onion OS:

Random game: random selection across all systems
Blue light filter: easier on the eyes late at night

Something ancient:
OldPlay: versatile multimedia player dating back to the old Dingoo A320 days. Loved it especially for C64 SID files support.

Last time I saw it implemented was on Rogue CFW for the Anbernic RG350.

Also saw RockBox pop up on Portmaster recently. Ancient, too but also a great versatile multimedia audio player.

Game_Music_Emu is available as a Quark gluon, which plays some of the formats that OldPlay seems to support. Also there's ffplay too, they're both downloadable from the store

• Random game is doable, could do it on both a per-system and global basis
• Blue light filter: I'll see if there's any other display attributes tucked away beneath MainUI

UPDATE: so far I'm coming up empty on the latter, looks like the only thing that can be configured is brightness

Did some testing with the media players:

GME: checked NES, SNES, CPC and Sinclair ZX music files so far and they all work fine. Some other platforms like GB, GBC, MS, GG, PCE should do great, too. Seems to support only single folders, no subfolders

MP3s: run too fast (200% I guess) if played from the MP3 folder. Rather comical for audiobooks. :-)

FFPlay: works fine for MP4 videos in 360p resolution and MP3s run in normal speed.

Just my quick observations. I am well aware that these media players are just a bonus and hardly anyone will use them extensively. Still great you made them available!

Yea you're best using ffplay for MP3s, the inbuilt SDL_Mixer based one only plays 44100Hz at normal speed

As for the folder thing if you mean there's no sub-subfolder support then that's a MainUI thing (only seems to traverse a depth of 1)

I must say the Trimui Smart has become my favourite device to play a quick round of Doom. Just copied the awesome Miyoo Mini 200+ Doom WAD collection over and every WAD tested runs fine. Too much of a hassle on ArKOs and other CFWs to edit .doom files for every single WAD. The only thing I'd like to change on Quark Os: I'd love to have button B for "next weapon" permanently. Can't save it in Retroarch and can't find the config file to fix it. Maybe it can be included in the next update?

I'll also look into that too, might also add some homebrew game packs to the store in the near-future too!

Quick Menu > Controls > Manage Remap Files > Save Core Remap File?
